The first step in creating a cool 360 is finding the right landscape for the shot. Preferably, it will be a scene that has distinct features; for us, we chose to do a 360 in the town of Mossel Bay that showed the beach, buildings, and surrounding sky. This allowed for the body of the photograph to focus in on the beach and buildings, while the outer part was of the sky and clouds. This choice made for a really nice, evenly spaced out 360. We had to make sure to bring a tripod with us while photographing this shot, one that could swivel a complete . . . 360 degrees. This is because each photograph that you take (around 10 of them) must overlap about 50% to ensure that they will stich together nicely in Photoshop. We would advise to use a wide angle lens, take the photograph in landscape mode, and adjust the shutter speed while you shoot, making sure not to alter the height or angle of the camera as you swivel around. After you take your handful of photographs, you have to import them into Photoshop Elements. Create a new Photoshop Panorama file, import your photographs, and stich them together to make a wide panorama. After you have finished that, you must resize the image so that the length is the same as the height of the photograph. Rotate the image 180 degrees and vie for the Distort option to have them become a 360 image!
